Field Notes
Field notes started as exactly that: notes. Scribbled after customer calls. Typed up when a prospect described their day. Overheard in a conference hallway. Occasionally pressed out of an expert. Field notes is not a company blog - it's just what comes back from the field.
Issues are structure given signals. Briefs are signals given structure.
Both start somewhere real.
